David Gareji Monastery – Adventure begins from Tbilisi towards David Gareji, an ancient and mystical Monastery Complex. As we journey through the Georgian landscapes, anticipation builds for the treasures that await us. Our destination, David Gareji, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it doesn’t take long to understand why.

The David Gareji Monastery Complex is an architectural marvel, boasting intricate cave frescoes, rugged landscapes, and a history dating back to the 6th century. This spiritual haven is a captivating blend of spirituality and natural beauty. It’s a journey into Georgia’s ancient soul.

Giuaani Winery – Our tour takes a delightful turn as we head to the Giuaani Winery. At Giuaani, we’re treated to an exquisite wine-tasting experience that introduces us to the flavors of the Kakheti region.

Bodbe Monastery – Next stop is the Bodbe Monastery, a place of tranquility and spirituality. Nestled amidst lush gardens and overlooking the Alazani Valley, this monastery is a serene oasis. It is also the final resting place of St. Nino, the enlightener of Georgia.

Sighnaghi – Our journey culminates in the romantic city of Sighnaghi, often referred to as the “City of Love.” Its charming cobblestone streets, rustic architecture, and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley create a perfect setting for a romantic evening. It’s here that we have the pleasure of indulging in a second wine-tasting opportunity.

After a day filled with wine tasting, exploration, and romance, we retire for the night in Sighnaghi.

Day 2: Step into the Wild: Hiking to Gurgeniani Waterfall Adventure

Gurgeniani (Ninoskhevi) Waterfall – As the sun rises over Sighnaghi, we embark on the second day of our adventure, which promises an immersive experience in the heart of nature. Our destination is the Lagodekhi National Reserve, a pristine wilderness that beckons us with its untouched beauty.

Our hike begins with a scenic drive through the Georgian countryside, allowing us to soak in the awe-inspiring landscapes. Upon reaching the trailhead, we set out on a hiking adventure that leads us through lush forests and across babbling streams, all en route to our main attraction: Gurgeniani Waterfall.

Gurgeniani Waterfall is a hidden gem, a testament to the untamed beauty of Georgia. As we approach it, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and our anticipation reaches its peak. Then, as if by magic, we behold the cascading majesty of Gurgeniani. The pristine waters tumble from great heights, creating a symphony of sights and sounds that leaves us in awe.

Day 3: Wine Tasting and History Lessons: Kvareli’s Nekresi, Gremi, Telavi

JSC Kindzmarauli Corporation – Our final day of the tour is dedicated to wine, history, and the charming towns of the Kakheti region. So the first stop will be Corporation Kindzmarauli.

At Corporation Kindzmarauli, we will have a journey through time and taste. As one of the foremost names in Georgian winemaking, the company carved a path of tradition and excellence, offering an experience like no other. Let’s delve into the rich history, extraordinary vineyards, and the art of crafting the finest wines.

Nekresi Monastery Complex – The day Continues with a drive through picturesque landscapes as we make our way to our stop: Nekresi.

Nekresi is an ancient monastery perched atop a hill, offering panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. Its historic significance and serene atmosphere make it a perfect place for reflection and exploration. We delve into the history and architecture of this spiritual site, gaining insights into Georgia’s religious heritage.

Gremi Fortress – Next, we visit Gremi, the site of a once-mighty kingdom. The Gremi Fortress stands as a testament to the region’s past glory. It’s a journey back in time, where the stories of kings and conquests come to life.

Telavi – Our final destination is Telavi, the administrative center of Kakheti. This charming town offers a blend of history and modernity. We take strolls through its historic streets, visiting sites like Batonis Tsikhe and the beautifully landscaped Batonis Tsikhe Park.
