Giuaani Winery – Our tour takes a delightful turn as we head to the Giuaani Winery. At Giuaani, we’re treated to an exquisite wine-tasting experience that introduces us to the flavors of the Kakheti region.

Bodbe Monastery – Next stop is the Bodbe Monastery, a place of tranquility and spirituality. Nestled amidst lush gardens and overlooking the Alazani Valley, this monastery is a serene oasis. It is also the final resting place of St. Nino, the enlightener of Georgia.

Sighnaghi – Our journey culminates in the romantic city of Sighnaghi, often referred to as the “City of Love.” Its charming cobblestone streets, rustic architecture, and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley create a perfect setting for a romantic evening. It’s here that we have the pleasure of indulging in a second wine-tasting opportunity.

After a day filled with wine tasting, exploration, and romance, we retire for the night in Sighnaghi.

Day 2: Step into the Wild: Hiking to Gurgeniani Waterfall Adventure

Gurgeniani (Ninoskhevi) Waterfall – As the sun rises over Sighnaghi, we embark on the second day of our adventure, which promises an immersive experience in the heart of nature. Our destination is the Lagodekhi National Reserve, a pristine wilderness that beckons us with its untouched beauty.

Our hike begins with a scenic drive through the Georgian countryside, allowing us to soak in the awe-inspiring landscapes. Upon reaching the trailhead, we set out on a hiking adventure that leads us through lush forests and across babbling streams, all en route to our main attraction: Gurgeniani Waterfall.

Gurgeniani Waterfall is a hidden gem, a testament to the untamed beauty of Georgia. As we approach it, the sound of rushing water grows louder, and our anticipation reaches its peak. Then, as if by magic, we behold the cascading majesty of Gurgeniani. The pristine waters tumble from great heights, creating a symphony of sights and sounds that leaves us in awe.
