We set out for a 10-days visit to Georgia and planned to start with Tusheti. Therefore, we booked a tour with Roman. He was super helpful and straightforward. At first we were concerned about the weather forecast, which showed rain for all four days, but Roman assured us that the weather conditions were quite good at that time. We trusted and he was absolutely right. The 4-days rain forecast became true for 5 minutes, when we were about to leave Tusheti. If you find yourself worrying about the weather forecast, spare your worries and simply trust Roman. Roman picked us up in Tbilisi and took us first to the market in Telavi, which I recommend everybody to visit. We then proceeded to the famous Tusheti road over the Abano Pass. The ride itself was an amazing experience with stunning views. Roman was very careful and did a great job driving the road. We felt really save and had a great fun. After 7-8 hours we finally arrived Upper Omalo. The guesthouse Mzgvari was very comfortable and super clean. The girls did an amazing job in terms of cooking and caring for us! Moreover, they are super funny. The tours were done by Roman together with his horse guide Davit. Davit is such a likeable, witty and caring guy. We really had a great fun doing the tours and enjoyed amazing blooming landscapes. Our final words belong to Roman. He really managed to make this tour an unforgetable experience. He invited us to his closest friends and lovely family. We had dinner and drinks, played games and laughed so much with them. We are so happy to have met such lovely people and made friends with them! We are looking forward to see them soon again. Less
